Ranked Battles

Within the game's battle modes is the Ranked Mode. This system allows for players to enter a special series of battles against players around the world in order to earn points to reach different tiers and get different rewards. Each series has got a different ruleset and the rulesets are brought down automatically.

As you progress through the battles, you will go up in rank as you win and you wuill have your rank reduced if you continue to lose. There are five different tiers of rank to battle through, with each tier having 4 ranks to go through, starting at Rank 4 and going up to Rank 1 before you rank up to the next tier.

With each tier comes better win rewards, but a larger climb to reach the next rank. However, while each win will increase your rank, this can be improved even moreso if you are running a Win Streak.

A week after each Season begins, Master Tier ranks 3 through 1 and Champion Tier open up for play.

When you reach Master Tier and Champion Tier, your Pokémon will also receive a special title.
