Time & Day Mechanics

In a change from more recent Pokémon games, Pokémon Pokopia returns to a 24 hour clock, and with this it utilises real time towards its mechanics. Building kits with Pokémon will take real time from 10 minutes up to going towards the next day. There are daily stamps that you can get for checking in at Pokémon Centers as well.

In addition to that, the game uses a Morning, Day, Evening and Night system and some Pokémon will only appear in specific time zones, such as Murkrow only appearing at night, though if you put their habitats in a specific place, such as a Night Pokémon in a dark area like a cave or a Day Pokémon in a habitat surrounded by bright lights, they will spawn regardless of the time of day. In addition to this, Pokémon will also react differently in these times of days, such as more nocturnal Pokémon being found in their homes and habitats sleeping in the day while being more active at night.

An in-game day begins at 05:00 local time and that is when elements reset including the Stamp Card and more.

Special Day events

In addition to time having a factor in there are certain days that have special things happen. This comes in three different ways

First, big Events will run over a long period of time which will have special bonuses
On certain days, there will also be smaller events featuring special event Challenges or tasks.
Finally, on specific day of the week, a couple of boosts happen. These last for the entirety of the day
