Fame Checker

There is an item similar to the PokeNav's Trainer Eyes called the Fame Checker. Both allow you to learn a bit of trivia about major characters in the game. With the Fame Checker, you can't check for rematches as you could with Trainer Eyes (though you can with the VS. Seeker). However, it updates throughout your travels with new information you may come across from signs, books, or even other characters.
