The Pokétch

The Pokétch was originally in the original Pokémon Diamond & Pearl on the bottom screen but makes a return in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. This is defaulted to off but can be controlled by pressing the R button. Pressing the R Button will make it appear as a small icon in the top right hand corner while pressing it again causes it to become larger. Holding the R button removes it entirely from the screen.

The Pokétch is obtained in Jubilife City by finding the clowns and getting all 3 Coupons for it.

This app is fairly self explanatory and provides a digital clockface to show the time. This time is based upon the time on your Nintendo Switch.

This app allows for you to draw on the Pokétch. You can do this with the pointer or touch screen in order to write down specific memos or even draw pictures. You can also use an eraser

This app allows for you to keep track of the steps that you make. It tracks up to 99,999 steps, and can be cleared by tapping the C button

This app allows for you to always have your party on the screen at any time. It shows their current health, as well as if they have a hold item

This app allows for you to track how much your Pokémon likes you. It will bring up hearts with two full hearts showing the maximum happiness. If you double tap a Pokémon, it will bounce and holding down will cause a Pokémon to come towards your cursor

This app allows for you to find Hidden Items. When you tap with your curor, it will set off a radar and if an item is nearby, then it will start pulsating in that direction

Obtaining Conditions: Inside the Nursery

In the Nursery, you will be able to get an app that will show any Pokémon you presently have in the Nursery, as well as if they have found an egg. This is Passive and will need to be tapped to refresh or the Pokétch opened/closed in order to update

This app will show the last 12 Pokémon you have obtained through capture, egg hatch, or evolution. If you tap them, you will hear their cry

This app allows for you to count as you go. Press the + button to add one to the count. This can be useful for counting encounters or egg hatches

This app will show the map of the Sinnoh Region. If will provide six icons that you can place on the map at any time by dragging, and also showcases the location of Mesprit and Cresselia when they are roaming the region

This app is a simple coin flipping app. If you tap the coin with the pointer then the coin will flip and land on either heads or tails

Obtaining Conditions: Show man in house to the east a Pokémon with a Serious nature - Requires Rock Climb

This app showcases the current month based on the date in the Nintendo Switch. The current day is highlighted. You can select certain days by tapping them on the touch screen

This app is another art based app that lets you draw pixel art. You can draw over a pixel 3 times to make it darker before it resets

This app is a spinner. You can draw on the circle using the touch screen or pointer and press Play to make it spin. When you press the Stop button, the spinner will slowly stop.

This app will keep track of your top 3 PokéRadar chain amounts. If you tap the Pokémon, they will jump and you'll hear their cry. At the top it will also show the current chain you are on

This app will give you a 100 minute timer. Set it and it will count down and alert you when it's done. You can stop it at any time or reset it if you wish to start over

This app will allow for you to change the colour of the Pokétch into one of eight different colours using a slider. The eight colours are: Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, Teal, Grey.

This colour change is persistent across all apps

This app will allow for you to manually activate one of the Hidden Moves. The Hidden Moves arrive on the app when you first get the TM of that move and will be able to be activated after you have obtained the correct badge
