Dawn & Lucas

Location: Verity Lakefront

At the start of the game, you will head towards Verity Lakefront with Barry. When there, you meet Professor Rowan and Dawn/Lucas who make a quick exit but leaves his briefcase behind. As you approach the briefcase, you both are attacked by wild Starly and Barry suggests taking the Pokémon to defend yourself. Shortly afterwards, Dawn/Lucas rushes back and notices you used the Pokémon and say you have to talk to Professor Rowan at once.

Location: Sandgem Town

When you reach Sandgem Town, Dawn/Lucas will be at the lab and will be there while Professor Rowan asks your help to fill out the Pokédex. Shortly afterwards, when you go to Route 202, they will offer to show you how to catch Pokémon.

Location: Jubilife City

When you reach Jubilife City, Dawn/Lucas will meet you at the entrance and recommend that you should visit the Trainer School to get a variety of tips.

Location: Jubilife City

When you return to Jubilife City after defeating the Oreburgh Gym, you will see Rowan and Dawn/Lucas getting accosted by two Team Galactic Grunts who want the Professor to hand over his research. You will partner with Dawn/Lucas in order to defeat them.

After you reach Route 207 through Cycling Road, you will again meet up with Dawn/Lucas. They will ask how your Pokédex is coming along before giving you the Dowsing Machine app on your Pokétch.

Location: Veilstone City

When you go to the gym in Veilstone City, Dawn/Lucas will appear and ask if you're taking the Gym Challenge. After defeating the gym, they will rush back and say they accidentally dropped their Pokédex and Team Galactic took it. They request your help in getting it back by the Galactic Warehouse, where they will battle alongside you.

Location: Canalave City

After you beat the gym, Barry will tell you that Professor Rowan is at the library and wants to speak to you all. Here, Rowan will give the details on the Legendary Pokémon that can be found around the lakes and suggest everyone go check out the lakes, sending Dawn to Lake Verity.

Location: Lake Verity

After you arrive at Lake Verity, you will see Dawn/Lucas battling with the Commander Mars. They will ask for your help and you have to defeat Mars to remoev her from the lake. Rowan will be glad that both of you are safe and recommend that you go to Lake Acuity to check on Barry.

Location: Spear Pillar

After you have defeated Cyrus, Rowan and Dawn/Lucas will appear and be shocked at the appearance of Dialga/Palkia. Rowan will recommend you face it. After you have, Dawn will say about how the Professor was concerned about you and rushed here as quickly as he could.

Location: Sandgem Town

After you have beaten the Elite Four, Dawn/Lucas will be outside the laboratory in Sandgem Town. They will give you some guidance on where to go first, such as visiting Bebe's house in Hearthome and checking Swarms with their sister. However, afterwards they will want to battle you at the weekend. Their teams vary depending on the trainer and change after the Level increase from defeating the Elite Four again 10 times.
