Amity Square

Amity Square makes its return in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Based on the original version, this area lets you take your Pokémon out of your Poké Balls for a stroll, but there are a few changes to it compared to the original.

First, while you only select one Pokémon to go with you, the rest of the eligible Pokémon will alos then be allowed out to play in the park. If you go and find them, they too will start following you meaning you can have up to 6 Pokémon follow you at once in this area. You can talk to them at will and will sometimes even get Berries from them

Unlike the rest of the game, you also have the ability to tilt and zoom in with the camera using the Right Stick so you can create some nice photos with your buddy Pokémon.

There's also various items found across Amity Square to collect including TMs and the Amulet Coin.

Like elsewhere in Hearthome City, in Amity Square you can create Poffin, but here you can do it alongside your Pokémon, much like making Curry in Pokémon Sword & Shield. The Pokémon will react to how well you are making the Poffins, and get mad if you burn it.

After you first visit Amity Square, you can then have your Pokémon follow you outside. This is not limited to any Pokémon but is prevented in caves, lakes and certain other areas.

Sometimes when you talk to the Pokémon that follows you, you will receive a Berry
