Status Condition Changes

With Pokémon Legends: Z-A's new battle system, in addition to the moves changing how they function, the status conditions have also had a little bit of a rework. First, the Sleep status has been removed from the game and the Drowsy status condition makes a return which affects the Pokémon in a different way.

All other Status Conditions have returned.

List of Status Condition Effects

Status Condition	Effect
Burned	The Pokémon will gradually lose HP over time and its physical moves are weakened
Confusion	The Pokémon will behave strangely in battle, such as not returning to you in a straight line.
Drowsy	The Pokémon's moves have increased cooldown time after being used
Frozen	The Pokémon will be unable to move or attack for a limited time. Certain moves will thaw it out
Paralyzed	The Pokémon's movement speed is reduced.
Poisoned	The Pokémon will gradually lose HP over time. This reduces even when the Pokémon is not in battle but is out on the field
