Pokémon Legends: Z-A is on the Nintendo Switch and are capable of patches and updates to the software. This is done typically automatically when your Switch is in Stand By mode but can be prompted by pressing Start on the Switch's Home Screen and selecting Software Update. These updates offer a variety of changes including bugfixes and more

Fixes the issue where if you fill all boxes before the first Rogue Mega Evolution Battle, Side Missions that require you to catch a Pokémon would not let you catch any Pokémon
It fixes an issue where if the time of day changes at the same time as using a move, it doesn't register
It fixes an issue where if the opponent switches and the player Mega Evolves at the same time, a new Pokémon doesn't get set out
It also adjusts the rewards of Ranked Battles and the points eerned so you will never decrease in points
