Pokémon Size Variance |
|||||
Pokémon Size Variance makes a return in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but with a few changes. As in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the differences in Pokémon sizes are noticeable when the Pokémon is out of its Poké Ball or is in the wild.
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can directly see the Pokémon's size by looking at its summary screen. Rather than having differences in height and weight specifically stated, like in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it instead is denoted by a specific category: XS, S, M, L or XL. This does have some impact on the game, as some Side Missions will ask for you to find an XL Pokémon, for example. Alpha Pokémon also return in this game and are instantly bigger than any Pokémon of its species, even bigger than standard XL Pokémon, but Alpha Pokémon are also denoted as XL. |
