Useful Characters

Like with Pokémon's previous iterations, this game has various people dotted around city region who have the ability to aid you in various ways. As before, some historically have been streamlined to being part of the UI but there are several more than can help you

IV Judge

Location: Pokémon Centers

Details:
The IV Judge, while not a person, is unlocked in this game after you have finished the story. Go to a Pokémon Center and you will unlock the IV Judge. When in your boxes, press the Right Stick on your controller and you'll be able to check your Pokémon's IVs.

Friendship Checker

Location: Café Pokémon-Amie, Autumnal Avenue

Details:
At the Autumnal Avenue café, Café Pokémon-Amie, a trainer with her Roselia is sitting and is offering to check the friendship with your Pokémon.

Hyper Training

Location: Justice Dojo, Jaune District

Details:

In the Justice Dojo next to Josée, you will find the Hyper Training. She will offer you a chance to Hyper Train your Pokémon, bringing 1 or more of its IVs up to maximum in exchange for a Bottle Cap or Golden Bottle Cap. This can be done for Pokémon Level 50 and above.

Plus Move Mastery Training

Location: Justice Dojo, Jaune District

Details:

In the Justice Dojo you will find Josée. If you have a Seed of Mastery, she will offer to help your Pokémon master a move so that it can be a Plus Move. This can be done on moves that aren't Plus Moves yet in the Pokémon's learnset, or on moves such as TM moves that can't naturally become Plus Moves.
