Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Regulation J has been officially announced. This Regulation Ruleset will run from September 1st 2025 through to January 4th 2026 and allows for you to use up to 2 Special Pokémon on a team including Mythical Pokémon for the first time
While Ranked Battle will be Regulation J, live VGC tournaments will use Regulation H until the end ofNovember 2025

The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the 2025 Pokémon World Championships Celebrationevent and is due to run from August 15th at 10:00 to August 17th at 20:00 local time and adds Pikachu in its 2025 Worlds outfit into the game
There will be two T-Shirts available in-game. One at the venue which is yellow obtained through Scavenger Hunt Timed Research and a white one available through a code shared o nthe World Championships stream
During the event, you will have 5 Special Trades a Day, additional encounters and an increased chance to find Pikachu in a jacket
Pikachu & Honedge will be in 1 Star Raids
Lapras, Dusclops and Diggersby will be in 3 Star Raids
Pikachu, Marill, Paldean Wooper and Honedge will be in Field Research
Nidoran Female, Mankey, Marill, paldean Wooper, Spoink, Frillish, Vullab,y Inkay, Rookidee and Fuecoco will be in the wild

Pokémon Masters EX has release a new update. Thsi update contains a variety of new details for the next month's updates but also provides some changes
First, you can now raise a Sync Pair to Level 200. Our database has been adjusted to display these stats. This is done using Certificate of Excellence up to Level 180 and a Plaque of Excellent up to Level 200
The Pasio Towers feature is now available. There are weekly rewards and you need a Tower Pass to take on a tower. After you do that, you will have attempts to take on a floor. Attempts restore every 8 hours and attempts aren't used if you quit or lose. Once defeated you can repeat it without an attempt.
Some floors will have certain rules such as only taking damage when affected by a condition or more
This update also adds a Beginner's Guide, a selection of missions designed to show new players how to play the game. These are available for all and even provide over 10,000 Gems and Fair Scout Tickets to get any Fair Sync Pair.

The Pokémon Company have fully revealed all standard cards for the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set, Mega Brave & Mega Symphonia. This set is two subsets focused around Mega Evolutions and starts the Mega Evolution series of the TCG. All 86 standard cards for both sets have been revealed.

Pokémon Sleep has revealed a new mode coming in the game next month: Expert Mode. This mode will be available when your Snorlax reaches Master 18 on Greengrass Isle. When there, it'll be harder to raise Snorlax but you'll be able to get rarer rewards
You can get to Expert Mode with two Expert Tickets.
Snorlax's berries for the week will be split into 1 favourite. The favourite berry will cause bonuses such as shorter helping frequency. Pokémon that don't bring favourites have increased frequency.
In Expert Mode, the Drowsy Power required will increase but the research experience, dream shards and candy will increase. There will also be increased Shiny rates and expert mode exclusive missions

The latest set for Pokémon TCG Pocket has been officially revealed. This set is called Wisdom of Sea and Sky and will release on July 30th 2025. This set comes as two different boosters themed around Ho-Oh and Lugia and is focused around Johto Pokémon and features over 200 cards
Alongside this, the new changes to the game including Wishlists for trades where you can flag up to20 cards that you want, and the changes to the trade system where trades only require Stardust will be included.

In amongst the Pokémon Legends: Z-A news, a pre-order distribution was announced for some countries. In Japan at Amazon, or Australia at EB Games, if you pre-order you will receive a serial code to redeem for a unique Trench Coat customisation set.

There will be Timed Research from August 3rd to 4th to get Swirlix, 3000 Stardust and 25 Pinap Berries
There will be Timed Research from August 5th to 6th to get Combee, 3000 Stardust 500 XP and 1 Lure Module

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the special Raid event which offers 5 Star Raid Battles against Shiny Wo-Chien with the Grass Tera Type. It cannot be captured but if it's defeated over 1 million times before it ends, then Shiny Wo-Chien will be distributed to all players.

PokéPark Kanto
During the Pokémon Presents, details were released for the coming PokéPark Kanto theme park in Japan. This Theme Park is due to open in early 2026, with tickets available from late 2025. In the park itself there are two different areas, the first is a 500m long Pokémon Forest filled with grassy trails, tunnels and more featuring Pokémon all over the area.
In the Sedge Town area, there will be two attractions, a Pokémon Center, a shop, a Gym and more for attendees to battle within

Pokémon World Championships
Some new details were released for the Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim California next month. During the finals on Sunday, the event will be held in the Arena adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center

It also introduces the Festive Flowers which allow for you to earn a special boost if you grow certain colour flowers. It also brings the Neutralizing Mint item which removes the effect of a nature.

Pokémon Sleep has announced a new limited time feature, Festive Flowers and Neutralizing Mints. This feature allows for you to grow flowers near Snorlax using various seeds to get research bonuses. From July 21st through July 28th this feature will be live and you'll get a Neutralizing Mint as a bonus. This item removes the effect of a Nature from a Pokémon
When the flowers bloom, you'll get additional research bonuses such as *2.5 Candy from Sleep Research or *3 Pokémon Experience. This bonus remains for the duration of the event.
There are five colours of seeds available and you get one of each. Each seed gives a different bonus.

The Pokémon GO Community Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, Quaxly will appear, en masse, in Pokémon GO which also introduces its Shiny into the game. Pokémon GO - Max Battle Day
The Pokémon GO Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, all Power Spots will contain a Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle. It also features Timed Research for paid ticket holders that offers experience and Max Mushrooms
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the Summer Concert. It runs from 17:00 local time through 20:00 local time each day from July 19th through July 22nd

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the second week of the Mighty Kommo-o event. This event has Kommo-o appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Fighting Tera Type, with Blissey appearing as 5 Star Raids alongside it with Tera Shard rewards. As with other 7 Star Raid Battles, Kommo-o can only be caught once per savefile
This event runs until July 20th 2025 at 23:59 UTC

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Black Bolt & White Flare - TCG Set Release
Today marks the release of the latest Pokémon TCG Special Set in the west. This set is split into two: Black Bolt and White Flare which between them includes cards for every Pokémon in the Unova region including Illustration cards for each

The latest episode has aired in Japan today. This episode features Nidothing doing a collab with Iono, but when time comes, Zirc loses his ticket. The AniméDex has been updated with the contents of this episode. Click the picture to go to the section but be warned however as it contains spoilers.

Pokémon UNITE
Pokémon UNITE has received a small update which adds a variety of things to the game.
First, the Pokémon Latios is now available to obtain, alongside its Marine Style Holowear.
Alongside this, a new Treasure Chest campaign is now live to get the Super Suit Holowear for Charizard. This is in addition to many other Event Missions
The latest Battle Pass is also now live which gives out the Holowear of: Captain Style Gyarados and Marine Style Mamoswine
Alongside this, a new Balance Patch is now live inthe game featuring many adjustments to Pokémon stats and moves

Pokémon UNITE has revealed some coming changes to the game
First to commemorate Pokémon Legends: Z-A, more Mega Evolutions will be released in the game. From September through December, 2 Unite Licenses will be released per month including those for Mega Evolved Pokémon

A new episode title has been released for a coming episode of Pokémon Mega Voltage in Japan. This episodes is due to air on August 1st 2025 and features Liko being taken to see Amethio
