Effort Levels

What were once mainstays in the main series Pokémon games, EVs and IVs no longer affect stats. Instead, each stat for each Pokémon has got a specific "Effort Level", or Ganbaru Value (GV. These Effort Levels are not increased by any means other than using items that are commonly found in the game, by releasing Pokémon, catching Alpha Pokémon and more.

These items can't be used in bulk as they only work when the Effort Level is within a certain threshold.

Each Effort Level has got a specific value that feeds into the stat calculation

Other Stats
(round(((absolute(√(Base Stat) * EffortLevel Value) +Level) / 2.5) + floor(NatureBonus* floor(((Level / 50.0) + 1.0) * (Base Stat) / 1.5) / 100))

However, while IVs are not utilised in the stat calculations, they can determine the starting Effort Level for a stat
IV of 0-20 gives it Effort Level 0
IV of 20-25 gives it Effort Level 1
IV of 26-30 gives it Effort Level 2
IV of 31 gives it Effort Level 3
