Useful Characters

Like with Pokémon's previous iterations, this game has various people dotted around the region who have the ability to aid you in various ways. While many features such as Name Rater and Move Reminder have all been remoevd to the Pokémon's Summary options, there are many characters around Paldea that can help you. This page is to detail those characters

If you have, she will give you an Effort Ribbon.

Hyper Training

Location: Montenevera

By the Pokémon Center in Montenevera, you will find a man and his Abomasnow. He will offer you a chance to Hyper Train your Pokémon, bringing 1 or more of its IVs up to maximum in exchange for a Bottle Cap or Golden Bottle Cap.

In a change from prior games, this can now be done on Pokémon Level 50 and above

Changing Tera Types

Location: Medalit

There is a way to change a Pokémon's Tera Type. After completing the Medali Gym, go to the restaurant in Medali where you can exchange 50 of one type of Tera Shard to get a meal that will change your Pokémon's Tera Type to that type. These items can be found randomly on the ground throughout Paldea or as Raid Rewards
