Effort Values

Effort Values are once again present in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and haven't really changed much but there are a few different changes. First, PokéRus is no longer in the game so there is no other way to double the Effort Values that you can gain

You can check EVs in two ways. First a trainer in Levincia will give your Pokémon the Effort Ribbon. Otherwise, you can find a graph in your Pokémon's summary screen/

The main way to improve EVs in the game is through battling wild Pokémon. This has to be a battle as the Let's Go Auto Battles will not earn Effort Values.

Each Pokémon gives a certain amount of EVs so, if you go there teamed with the usual combination of other items and you can just farm various Pokémon to get your stat done quickly
