Ogre Outstin' is a new minigame that can be played from Kitakami Hall as you progress through the story, with a play being mandatory. This game has you go to a random place throughout Kitakami, with more unlocked as you explore the region, to play.
Your task here is to get berries from the four different coloured balloons and return them to the respective coloured basket. However, as you progress, various Pokémon will come and try to eat the berries, requiring you to have to return to scare them off by roaring on your Pokémon.
There are three difficulties to this mode, and doing this adjusts both the items that you get as well as the amount of stages you have to go through. You have to complete the previous level to get
This can also be made easier by playing with other players. However, even though others players provide a slight advantage, it causes an increased in the amount of Balloons you will need to get
Playing can be done locally or online, and only with other players by sharing the Link Code.
The mechanics are quite simple. You have got 120 seconds to clear a stage and to clear the stage you need to fill up all four of the baskets with berries found by popping the respective coloured balloons. Players can only hold 30 berries at a time so at higher levels this mweans going back, putting berries in and then going to get more. Balloons will also respawn after 45 seconds from popping
However, this is where the challenge comes in. When you have berries in the basket, wild Pokémon of Skwovet, Greedent, Munchlax and eventually Snorlax will appear and will come to the basket to eat the berries. If they succeed, you will have to replenish the basked. You can scare them away by roaring when standing still which will cause them to run away for a short time. Each Pokémon will eat a different amount of berries and have a limit to the amount of berries they will eat as well
Scoring & Rewards
After you have finished all the stages of the game, you will get scored based on a variety of factors including the amount of stages cleared, balloons popped and Berries placed on the table as well as the time that it takes for you to get the stages done. This is then all multipled and added together to get a score, and this is used to determine item weights for the rewards
You will also get a couple of groups of items based on the difficulty and your success.
The first time you complete Hard mode, you will also be given a special Shiny Munchlax.
These rewards are standard and don't count among the random rewards or item groups. You will get anywhere from 0 to 30 of specific mochi.
The weight in this table is then used compared to the weight given by your score and it causes a roll for each item until the value for your score reaches 0. So if you end up with a item weight of 3000, it will go down there and subtract from the 3000 each hit until it hits 0
