What Are Ultra Beasts?

Inroduced in Pokémon Sun & Moon, Ultra Beasts are a unique group of Legendary Pokémon from a world different to our own. These Pokémon have extreme designs and their stats are often so wildly varied.

A unique element with the Ultra Beasts is that except for one, each of their stats is actually a Prime Number

Sub-Legendary Ultra Beasts

The SubLegendary Ultra Beasts are the Ultra Beasts you will find multiple of in the game. As these are found either through Ultra Wormholes or having recently come through Ultra Wormholes, they have the Beast Boost ability, and the item Beast Balls have increased effectiveness on them

Legendary Ultra Beasts

These Pokémon were not labelled as Ultra Beasts initially but rather reminisicent of them until you progress through the game. In the expanded media of the Pokémon anime and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as various spin-off titles, they have since been labelled and confirmed as Ultra Beasts
