Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Shadow Raid Day will run on May 17th 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 local time, focused on the Pokémon Shadow Regigigas
Players will get up to 5 more additional Raid Passes from PokéStops and an Event ticket will be live for 8 more Raid Passes, 50% more experience, 2* more Stardust and more Rare Candy XL
Remote Raids will work for Shadow Raids during this event and the limit will increase to 20
The IVs on Regigigas caught in Shadow raids will have even higher Attack< Defense or HP
There will be free Timed Research to get 10,000 Stardust, and 1,000 additional stardust for completing a Raid Battle

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on May 11th 2025 will focus on Pawmi, introducing its Shiny into the game. This event will 25% Incubator Distance, 2* Catch Experience and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Brick Break to Pawmot. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research. Pawmo will also only need to be walked as a Buddy for 1km to evolve for the duration of the event
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

There will be Special Research to get a Super Rocket Radar to face Giovanni and Shadow Dialga
Shadow Slakoth, Inkay, Tyrunt and Amaura will be available from Team GO Rocket Grunts
Shadow Magnemite, Cyndaquil, Murkrow and Spoink will be in 1 Star raids
From this event, Larvitar and Pawniard will no longer be in 12km Eggs
There will be paid Timed Research to get an additional Super Rocket Radar, 2 Premium Battle Passes and Pokémon encounters including Nidoking & Nidoqueen

Tatsugiri is an extremely cunning Pokémon. It feigns weakness to lure in prey, then orders its partner to attack. This species' differing colors and patterns are apparently the result of Tatsugiri changing itself to suit the preferences of the prey it lures in. This Pokémon tricks its opponents by playing dead. It is small and weak, but it uses its smarts to survive. Bird Pokémon are its main prey. This Pokémon knows it's weak, so it hunts with a partner. It's one of the most intelligent dragon Pokémon. The latest set for Pokémon TCG Pocket has been officially revealed. This set is called Celestial Guardians and will release on April 30th 2025

This set has two booster packs focused around Solgaleo and Lunala and features over 200 cards themed around the Alola Region. It features the first Immersive Supporter card, a card of Lillie.
In addition to that, the half year celebration has been announced for the game. Running also from April 30th 2025, missions will be available including Solo Battles to obtain Promo cards including Rayquaza ex. Special missions will also be available to get a different Rayquaza ex promo and new accessories and rewards

However, unlike other Ranked Damage events, all attacks will do damage regardless of if they're super effective

Increased chance of Shiny Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Slowpoke, Combee and Litleo
Kingambit requires you to beat 15 Dark or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles with Bisharp as your buddy
Slowpoke, Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, Pawniard & Litleo will be in the wild
Sneasel, Klink & Pawniard will be in 1 Star Raids
Nidoking & Nidoqueen will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be a Collection Challenge to get encounter with Pawniard. After completing, trainers Level 31 and above get an extra Candy XL for evolution

As part of the Ditto Project, a special campaign happening across South Korea from this month, you will be able to get a Serial Code to get a Ditto. This can be obtained April 25th through May18th at the Lotte World Mall World Park and on May 1st through May 6th at the Lotte World Mall on the 2nd Floor
This Ditto is Level 30 in a Cherish Ball. It has the ability Limber and the move Transform. It comes with both the Classic Ribbon and the Excited Mark

A new Pokémon Sleep event has been announced. This event will be held later and will focus on unlocking Darkrai's Sub Skills and ingredient slots following the Cresselia vs. Darkrai event. If you didn't get Darkrai during that event, there will also be a chance to befriend Darkrai there. It's also confirmed that you can only have one of each Mythical Pokémon. We'll provide full details on this new event as they come
Alongside this, maintenance has been announced which will add following changes. First it'll provide details for a Dream Shard Week event
Next, it adds a new feature called Befriending Badges, which unlock once you reach certain friendship levels with the Pokémon. With Bronze Badge, you can have a Gold Subskill guaranteed and an increased shiny chance
The Silver Badge will make the second sub skill gold for that species, unlock new profile icons and ake it easier to find Shiny

The Gold Badge will make the third subskill gold for each species, a new frame for the profile icon and it be even easier to get a Shiny variant. The friendship levels for each badge are different by Pokémon

There will also be Timed Research to get Stardust, Poké Balls, Lure Modules and encounters with Scorbunny, Passimian and Croagunk in a backwardscap

This event will run from 00:00 UTC on April 18th through 23:59 UTC on April 20th and again from April 25th through April 27th with Blissey joining it for the second run

It has been confirmed that sectator pass registration for the Pokémon North America International Championships in New Orelans will open at 00:00 UTC on April 23rd 2025. Player registration will also begin at the same time in two waves, with the second wave coming at 14:00 UTC on April 23rd 2025
In addition to that, some elements have been confirmed for the event. The Play Lab and Pokémon Center will both make a return, with registration for the PokémonCenter coming soon.
There will be a Collect and Trade Corner and Activity Zone, as well as merchants in the venue

Niantic have announced a new event in South Korea to celebrate Ditto. This event, "1, 3, 2! It's Ditto Time!" is part of a big Ditto celebration held by Pokémon Korea and runs from 10:00 April 25th to 20:00 April 27th in Seoul and on May 9th - May 11th for all of South Korea.
During this event, at the top of every hour for three minutes Ditto will appear in large numbers
There will be event stickers at Poké stops
You will get 2* Catch Stardust and 50% Trade Stardust Cost

There will be free Timed Research to get rewards including Stardust and encounters with Ditto. This runs only in the second half of the event

The newest Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Scraggy, Hariyama and Mega Heracross will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding the Pokémon as Shiny after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Applin will evolve into Flapple and Appletun with 200 Candy and 20 of each Apple: Tart Apple for Flapple and Sweet Apple for Appletun. Apples can be found on the screen when on the map. Apples on the map can also be Applin encounters
You have 2* Catch Candy
Increase chance of getting Shiny Delibird, Skowvet and Cherubi
Catching Delibird and Skwovet will get Berries
Apples will appear more at Mossy Lure Modules
Alolan Rattata, Abra, Bellsprout, Delibird, Gulpin, Bidoof, Munna, Bounsweet, Skwovet, Snorlax, Shuckle and Komala will spawn in the wild
Delibird, Cherubi, Munchlax and Skwovet will be in 7km Eggs
There will be Field Research for encounters of event Pokémon
There will be free Timed Research to get encounters, a Mossy Lure Module, a Tart Apple and a Sweet Apple

Niantic have announced a new feature, the Stamp Rally. With this feature, when you reach a PokéStop that is eligible for it, you will get a Stamp Sheet and when you go to specific PokéStops, you will be able to get a stamp for your stamp sheet. Like with actual Stamp Rallies, the appearance changes based on how long you press it. If you collect all the stamps, you can get items or encounters.
This first Stamp Rally is live in Osaka as part of the Expo 2025 - Osaka Kansai which runs from April 13th through October 23rd 2025
Edit @ 10:18: A second Stamp Rally will go live in Suita City around Pokémon GO Fest Osaka in May 29th 2025. It won't expire
The Stamp Rally is also planned to be added to the PokéLids across Japan, as well as through other events. The PokéLid stamp rally will use the PokéLid designs as the stamp but will also have a cooperative Stamp Rally style display so you can send stamps to friends

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - Tyranitar Raids

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the second week of the Mighty Tyranitar event. This event has Tyranitar appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Ghost Tera Type, with Blissey appearing as 5 Star Raids alongside it with Tera Shard rewards. As with other 7 Star Raid Battles, Tyranitar can only be caught once per savefile
This event runs until March 30th 2024 at 23:59 UTC

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event event and is due to run from April 16th at 10:00 to April 22nd at 20:00 local time and adds Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, Tinkaton & Floragato in a hat into the game
Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet & Tinkatink will be in 7km Eggs. After the event, Tinkatink will be in 10km Eggs
Quagsire, Shuckle, Slugma, Nosepass, Snorunt, Sprigatito, Floragato, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Pawmi and Captain Pikachu will spawn in the wild There will be 50% Incubator Distance and increased chance of Shiny Floragato and Captain Pikachu
Captain Pikachu, Chansey and Rockruff will be in 1 Star Raids
Charizard, Alolan Muk, Metagross and Liko's Florgato will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be free Timed Research to get event Pokémon, Stardust and Experience
There will be paid Timed Research to get encounters with Tinkatink, an Incubator, a pose with Tinkaton's Hammer and more

The next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has been announced. This competition is the Global Challenge 2025 IV competition and runs standard Regulation G rules
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC until April 10th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on April 11th through 23:59 UTC on April 13th.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles

The second of the Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage High songs has been released. This is "Facade Question" by Satsuki with a special music video with various visuals focused around the Vocaloid Kasane Teto, a special Vocaloid originally made as an April Fool's joke. This song is part of this year's April Fool's Joke which also featured the addition of artwork of Kasane Teto as a Rival trainer with Meloetta Pirouette Forme.

A new trainer has been added to Pokémon Masters EX's Trainer Lodge. From now on, if you have obtained Lacey & Granbull already, you have the ability to invite Lacey into the Trainer Lodge and befriend her. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Lacey & Alcremie (Ruby Cream - Blueberry Sweet). We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Lacey
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Volo & Togepi. This runs until May 1st 2025
In addition to this, a new Sync Pair has been added to the Damage Challenge Exchange, Bianca & Chandelure
