The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the second week of the Mighty Garchomp event. This event has Garchomp appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Ground Tera Type, with Blissey appearing as 5 Star Raids alongside it with Tera Shard rewards. As with other 7 Star Raid Battles, Garchomp can only be caught once per savefile

Pokémon Trading Card Game
The Pokémon Company have fully revealed all standard cards for the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set, Black Bolt & White Flare. This set is split into two and is based around the Unova Pokémon with a card for each of the 156 Pokémon, as well as new Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rares for every card. All 86 standard cards for both sets have been revealed.

The latest news for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been released. The game will launch on October 16th 2025. This will be on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with a digital upgrade pack being available for Nintendo Switch players to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
In the UK, the game will be priced at £49.99 for the Switch version and £59.99 for the Switch 2 version
In Japan the game will be priced at 7100 Yen for the Switch version and 8100 yen for the Switch 2 version. The upgrade pack will cost 1000 yen

It will also give out the move Clanging Scales to Kommo-o. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research .

The next Pokémon Sleep event has been revealed. This is the event which runs from June 9th at 04:00 local time to June 16th at 03:59 local time. This event adds Mawile into the game
During this event, dish strength will be increased by 50% and Pokémon with Ingredients specialty and Skills Specialty with cooking related main sills will appear
The cooking pot will be 50% larger through the event and Pokémon will recover 5 more energy from dishes
Ingredient Magnet S and Ingredient Draw S have a 50% increase in effect
Each time a Pokémon brings an ingredient, it will bring 1 extra
Mini Candy Boost will be active.
Mawile will arrive during the event. It is a Slumbering Steel-type Pokémon which has the Skill Hyper Cutter (Ingredient Draw S) which gets one type of ingredient chosen randomly from a specific selection of ingredients. Sometimes gets more ingredients than usual.

These entries are created by the visitors for the visitors and then compiled by our writer Mestorn. Its whole body is sticky with mucus. In the past, this form of Gastrodon was by far the more numerous one. It appears on beaches where the waters are shallow. Once it catches prey, it will slowly melt them with its mucus before slurping them up. They normally inhabit rocky seashores, but in times of continuous rain, they can sometimes be found in the mountains, far from the sea. Fishers say that they didn't see many of these Pokémon in the past, but this form of Gastrodon is now increasing in number.

To celebrate the Pokémon Trainers Cup in South Korea, a Porygon2 based on the Porygon2 used by Juyoung Hong to win the 2024 Pokémon Trainer's Cup last year will be distributed during the stream for the finals on June 7th & June 8th 2025. This Porygon2 holds an Eviolite and has the moves Tera Blast, Ice Beam, Recover and Trick Room. We'll provide the code as it comes so be sure to keep checking back

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO events, tying in with Pokémon GO Fest Serene Retreat
The first event is Serene Retreat which runs from May 30th through June 3rd and introduces Gigantamax Rillaboom.
Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, Hatenna, Snorlax and Chimecho will spawn in the wild
Chingling, Munna, Spritzee and Swirlix will be in 2km Eggs
There will be a Collection Challenge
Munna, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala and Hatenna will be in Field Research
During the event, there will be 50% Hatch Distance, 1.5* Hatch Experience, the Max Particle Collection limit will increase to 1,600 and you'll get 8* the Max Particles from Power Spots. There is an increased chance of Shiny Munna and Shiny Morelull
There will be paid Timed Research to get encounters with Munna, Morelull and 2 Super Incubators. Completing it gives the bonus of *1.5 Hatch Stardust Instrumental Wonders

A brand new co-op event is live in Pokémon Masters EX focused around Mega Evolution. This event features two battles, one of which is a daily battle. It runs until June 6th 2025

Pokémon GO has now activated remote Max Battles throughout the game globally. This will now run indefinitely for all players. With this, players can now use a Remote Raid Pass as well as Max Particles to complete a Max Battle. The Remote Raid Pass is consumed when the battle commences while Max Particles are still only used when you have won the battle. Alongside this, the Max Particle limit as standard is now 1,500 stored at a time.

The newest Shadow Pokémon focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Regigigas will appear in Shadow Raids on each Gym in the area.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Regigigas after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Nintendo has revealed the contents of the Nintendo Switch 2 patch for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Some distributions have been announced for the Pokémon Japan Championships this year. These events will run on June 21st and 22nd 2025. These events will be distributed via Pokémon HOME at the venue
First, an Amoonguss based on the Amoonguss used by 2024 Senior Division World Champion Ray Yamanaka will be distributed. This Amoonguss has the moves Spore, Sludge Bomb, Rage Powder, Protect and holds a Rocky Helmet. It is currently unclear if this Amoonguss will be distributed to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players through code
In addition to that, eight different medals will be obtainable in Pokémon HOME. These medals will have unique designs matching the artwork of the event and can be shared with other players

Niantic have announced how Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Sword Zamazenta work in Pokémon GO. In this game, when you beat them in raids, you will Crowned Sword or Crowned Shield Energy respectively. With 1000 Energy, you can change the form of Zacian and Zamazenta if it knows the move Iron Head. From there, any Zacian that know Iron Head will learn Behemoth Blade and any Zamazenta that know Iron Head will learn Behemoth Bash
In addition to that, these Pokémon can be used in Max Battles despite being unable to Dynamax. With this, you will be able to level up Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash for use in Max Battles just like any Max Move
Players who participate in the live events in Osaka, Jersey City and Paris will get the energy in Special Research while it will be available in Raid Battles in the Global event in June

Niantic have announced a new RSVP Planner feature in Pokémon GO, available from today. This feature allows for you to schedule raids as soon as an egg appears at a gym and you'll be able to see other raids nearby that have schedules. This scedule is seen on the map so players can tell when a raid is going to be set up by other players nearby and it will display the time and how many players have RSVP'd for the raid

It has been confirmed that the Pokémon Fossil Museum is to be leaving Japan for the first time to go to the Field Museum in Chicago Illinois from May 22nd 2026. This museum has been running since 2021 as a travelling exhibit throughout Japan showcasing life-size Pokémon skeletons to talk about the ecology of Fossil and ancient Pokémon. This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles and provides Championship Points to the highest ranked players

Max Battles willbe available from May 19th at 18:00 UTC and continue forever.

The Pokémon Company International have revealed the next English Pokémon TCG set. This is a special set based on Unova Pokémon, Black Bolt and White Flare, matching the Japanese equivalent that was revealed this past weekend. Unlike previous sets, this set is split into two with separate products for both, as well as joint products. It will release on July 18th 2025. Each expansion will include three different parallel foil sets, two of which will feature either a rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball pattern
There are 6 Pokémon ex, 8 Ultra Rare cards, Illustration Rare for each Unova Pokémon and 1 Special Illlustration Rare Supporter card
The Elite Trainer Box will release on July 18th with Tornadus and Thundurus promos depending on the set
There will be a Binder Collection on July 18th for each set with a 9 pocket album and 5 booster packs

The newest Mega Evolution focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Mega Kangaskhan will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Kangaskhan after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players

Today is Day 1 of the Pokémon Milwaukee Regional Championshios. Today features battles for three of the games in the current Play! Pokémon Circuit: TCG, GO and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, with it being the first Regulation I competition. All three games will be streamed in individual streams

The Pokémon GO Growing Up event is rolling out globally. This event features spawns of small Pokémon that evolve into big powerhouses with paid Timed Research and a Collection Challenge. It runs from 10:00 local time through 20:00 local time on May 7th.

Due to issues that occurred during the Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day last month in some areas such as Australia, Japan and South Korea, a makeup event is being held on May 4th from 14:00 to 17:00 local time
During the event, Max Particle limit will be increased to 1600 and you'll get 8* Max Particles from Power Spots. You'll also get 2* Max Particles from Exploring and 1/4 Adventure Distance to get it

The Pokémon Café ReMix Stealthy Greninja event is now live. This is a Team event that focuses around the Pokémon Greninja, offering a means to obtain it and power it up with cookies by earning points alongside your team. It runs until May 9th 2025

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - Ranked Battle Season 30
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 30 has begun. This season features the first season of the Regulation I format which allows for you to use 2 Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team. This season will run until May 31st at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 28 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Registration for the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has begun. This is the Grand Challenge IV competition and the final of the eight online competitions that give players a chance to earn Championship Points towards their Pokémon World Championships invite. This competition runs Regulation I rules allowing for 2 Restricted Pokémon
Registration runs until May 8th at 23:59 UTC with battles following on May 9th through May 11th.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles

Pokémon TCG Pocket has started its new monthly run of Subscription Missions for players with the paid subscription. With this, the shop has updated with new Coins, Playmats, Sleeves, Display Boards & Binders featuring Rowlet
Alongside this, a new mission is live that will give players with the subscription the Mimikyu Promo

A new trainer has been added to Pokémon Masters EX's Trainer Lodge. From now on, if you have obtained Larry & Dudunsparce already, you have the ability to invite Larry into the Trainer Lodge to befriend. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Larry & Oinkologne. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Larry
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Larry & Dudunsparce. This runs until June 1st 2025
A new Mix Scout is also now available to get the Sync Pair of Dawn & Empoleon. This runs until September 1st 2025
In addition to this, a new Sync Pair has been added to the Damage Challenge Exchange, N & Archeops
Finally, three new Gym Sync Pairs have been added to the special Gym Scout: Korrina & Hawlucha, Whitney & Wigglytuff & Kabu & Ninetales
Pokémon Café ReMix has added a new Monthly Goal Pass pass which offers a chear to get the Pokémon Fennekin, which has now been added into the game, as well as max out its Outfit Grade as you complete it throughout the month.

The first Pokémon TCG Pocket Ranked Match season, Season A3 is now live. This is the first Ranked Match season where you work up the ranks by winning in battles against random players online. After the season ends, you will get Emblems based on your position. This season runs until May 26th 2025
